Quick Bit: Painted after a photo I took while in Arizona, these hand holding cactus' would make a great addition to your space.

Journal Entry: This painting is very special to me. It was the first painting I did after not painting for years. It was the "I am getting back into this" painting and it all happened by happenstance. On a work trip, we missed a connecting flight and got stranded in Arizona for a day. So we made the most of it and went for a hike. I felt very grateful to be able to see and explore the beautiful scenery that wouldn't have happened if we had made our flight. I loved that these cactus' looked like they were holding hands and I surprised myself with how painting for me, really was like riding a bike. This painting reminds me that perspective in life can make all the difference.
